Lala Hoshiyar Singh Ji took the monumental first step of the HS Group in the historic Gandhi Cloth Market, Chandni Chowk. This foundation was built on a passion for authentic Indian textiles, setting a gold standard for quality and craftsmanship in women's ethnic wear that remains our North Star today.

Shri Suresh Chandra Gupta, along with his three sons—Arvind, Neeraj, and Deepak Gupta—took over the reins. They strategically expanded the business into a specialized 185 sq. ft. area in Katra Anoop Singh, bringing a curated selection of ethnic fabrics to a rapidly growing clientele in Delhi.

A major milestone was achieved with the launch of the retail brand 'Surya.' We expanded our wholesale presence to 300 sq. ft. in Gali Kishandutt, focusing on providing high-quality sarees and women’s ethnic ensembles that perfectly blend traditional aesthetics with modern retail convenience.

The 'Surya' brand reached new heights, expanding into a massive 9,000 sq. ft. area. This allowed us to house an unparalleled variety of bridal lehengas, festive suits, and designer sarees, establishing House of Surya as a one-stop destination for every Indian woman’s wardrobe.

We attained the pinnacle of success as we celebrated 50 glorious years of dressing the modern Indian woman. This Golden Jubilee marked half a century of dedication to artisan-led craftsmanship and our unwavering commitment to the fine art of Indian fashion.

Our business operations evolved into a mammoth 9,000 sq. ft. retail space and a sprawling 50,000 sq. ft. wholesale area. This scale solidified House of Surya as a leading force in the Indian fashion industry, supplying premium ethnic wear across the nation.

We launched 'Siyonee,' a stunning 12,000 sq. ft. retail destination designed for the modern woman. Siyonee focuses on trendy, ready-to-wear ethnic silhouettes, chic co-ord sets, and contemporary festive wear that reflects the spirit of the new-age fashionista.

We entered the realm of ultra-luxury with our elite premium designer brands—Raagwaas and Shreeka. Raagwaas specializes in bespoke bridal couture and heavy lehengas, while Shreeka offers sophisticated, high-end designer ethnic wear for women who seek exclusivity.

To support our rapid growth, we inaugurated a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq. ft. Corporate Office. This hub of innovation streamlines our design, quality control, and global supply chain, ensuring that every House of Surya garment meets international standards of excellence.

We introduced a new retail franchise and 'Shop-in-Shop' model for Surya. This strategic move allows us to partner with entrepreneurs across India, bringing our signature collection of women's ethnic wear and designer ensembles to fashion-forward cities nationwide.

We opened our most luxurious retail showroom yet at Omaxe Chowk, Chandni Chowk. This flagship store offers a world-class shopping experience, featuring a curated selection of our finest bridal couture and luxury sarees in a sophisticated, modern environment.

Our journey continues with the target of opening 100+ franchise stores across India. We are committed to expanding our retail footprint for Surya and Siyonee outside Chandni Chowk, ensuring the elegance of House of Surya is accessible to every woman, everywhere.
